Help Juno

How you can help Juno

We have had endless enquiries from people offering to help us. This has been humbling and it is with some embarrassment that we have had to figure out how to allow people to help. But I think we are over that and so we have the following types of assistance that we would gladly and gratefully accept:

Sailing stuff

If you have sailing stuff that you aren’t using and you would be happy to part with it, please let us know. We will only say yes to stuff that we can use as we don’t want to end up re-gifting or selling stuff that was gifted.

Some suggestions:

  1.  Chains and rode, shackles, fenders, docking lines.
  2.  Life vests, foul weather gear, gloves, boots, ski goggles (really foul weather), jackets
  3.  Diving kit – fins, goggles and snorkels, scuba gear, compressor, spear guns, dive flashlights

List on Gift register

We have created two lists for people who would like to buy us some new stuff. The first list is a “Gift Register” on Amazon and has lots of small value (and pricier) items that we think will be useful. These are easy to select and purchase, and they will be shipped to our address so they are hassle free. Please let us know that you have bought items so we can remove them and acknowledge you.

Big “Named List” items

The second list of items are big ticket and we would like to name them after the donors (if they would not be embarrassed). So these would be referred to with Proper nouns like Suzie or Truman whenever we used them, so you will be both remembered and acknowledged whenever we utilize your gift. We will gladly work with you to secure the best deal and delivery/installation of the gifted item.

Any Currency

When it comes down to the raw nuts & bolts, hard currency allows us to make more choices and we can assemble gifts from multiple people to get some cool kit. We have a Wise Card linked to the yacht, and here is a Wisetag that will help you to e-transfer to the account. If you have a Wise Card (free debit card in multiple currencies Wise.com) it is easy to transfer. Brilliant card to use when travelling – I am not sponsored – store any amount in multiple currencies, transfer between, love it!

A free way to help us, as with all content creators on social media, is sharing the link with others. This way they get the chance to enjoy it and share as well, and the mighty web system then sees people are looking, and they start sending ads to the page. As annoying as these are, they are easy to delete and the site creator gets some revenue from Mr. Google
